There are dozens of outrigger canoe racing clubs in Hawaii, with nine on Maui alone. And now there is something new and different – a Maui club dedicated exclusively, from the outset to “Paddling Just For Fun”.

The newly formed Maui Canoe Club is promoting the educational and “fun” aspects of Hawaiian outrigger canoeing through recreational paddling — without the racing component.
